ABOUT THE SITE OWNER

i'm rex, i'm a neurodivergent guy who's really into hardcore rave stuff from europe who happens to be based out of washington state. i was initially introduced to NGR and brisk & ham through lapfox trax as a wee lad (12 years old); the song NAMx by renard featured getting hi as a sample and it went from there. i would listen to NGR stuff on youtube occasionally until i downloaded soulseek when i was 14 in late 2023. from there, i was finally able to get hi res versions of all the rave music i loved instead of relying on torrents, archive.org, and youtube to flac.

i had a decent sized library relating to NGR. though, it's now doubled in size because of my recent hyperfixation. my hyperrfixation specifically focuses on the mascot of the label, of whom i've very creatively nicknamed nextgen.

...skipping to the part where i really start fixating, one of my friends who i know through the lapfox fandom opened a whiteboard fox. i drew my two current favorites, caliber and rex splode (those who know me know that caliber has been an integral part of me since i was 13.) i did want to draw more to be a show off. because i wanted to show pride in the music and its community that holds a very special place in my heart, i picked out the cover of the last thing i listened to, which was clear blue skies. the version i have uses the default online download cover that i've figured out is used for stuff distributed digitally.

here is said whiteboard fox drawing:

the way i draw it has absolutely changed very much lol. i draw nextgen way better now.
